There is a verse in the Bible that shines light on this topic, Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts, Proverbs 4:23. What if I told you that you can create the life you want?
I do not think that God designed us to live in a state of sadness, anger or self doubt. I can’t compete with him/her. I’m fat. I hate myself. I never have enough money. They won’t like me.

Now that I live a more mindful life, it’s easier to dwell on what is good.
